I have explained the making of the cube step by step in a sequence. The way this led cube works is that we will command the positive of the required position along with required layer to switch on that led for example if i want to switch on the led at position 1 1 1 i will connect the positive of power supply to 1 1 and then i will ground the layer 1. So for that we need 64 3 pins an arduino board can t do that alone. The construction of led cube is much easier than it looks.
